Auditions are underway here at the theatre for this beloved Broadway musical! Tuesday and Wednesday nights this week, director Zach Johnson and Musical Director Lacey McNamara had a full roster of singers and dancers vying for a place in the cast. Auditions continue next week, so you still have time to dust off your dancing shoes and prepare a song or two. Rehearsals began  last night for PSYCHOPATHIA SEXUALIS, our next Ubu's Other Show staged reading with director Lisa Woske and a great cast, including Jonathon Shadrach, Gregg Wolff, Maggie Coons, Deborah Bertling and John Geever! Our last Ubu show was standing room only, so be sure to get your tickets early for this one. If you're an Ubu pass  holder, we recommend calling the box office in advance for reservations, just to be sure you've got a seat on the night of the show. Psychopathia Sexualis, the 6th staged reading in Ubu's Other Shoe's 10th anniversary season. begins rehearsal this week at the Little Theatre. Director Lisa Woske has assembled a wonderful cast for this amazing play by award-winning playwright John Patrick Shanley. We had a great turnout at auditions for Psychopathia Sexualis, the 6th staged reading in the 10th anniversary season of Ubu's Other Shoe at the Little Theatre. Thank you to everyone who came out! "Got I hope I get it! I hope I get it!" Auditions for the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, A Chorus Line, are right around the corner: February 18 and 19 at the Little Theatre. What a weekend at 888 Morro Street! Other Desert Cities, the 6th staged reading in Ubu's Other Shoe's 10th anniversary season, played to standing-room only audiences! Director John Battalino assembled a wonderful cast to bring this Tony Award-winning play to life on our stage. Ubu staged readings are not memorized and generally have a brief rehearsal period (6-10 rehearsals) and short performance schedule (only 2 nights!) It's a perfect, low-impact way to get back onto the stage. Auditions for our next staged reading, Psychopathia Sexualis (directed by Lisa Woske) are taking place this Wednesday at the Little Theatre.
