Goodbye WONDERETTES, hello GORE VIDAL and GEORGE BAILEY. Only at the Little Theatre!

Good afternoon friends of the Little Theatre,

Our Marvelous Wonderettes are heading into their final weekend of performances. Tickets sales are great and the remaining shows are nearly sold out (including our Thursday!) If you haven’t had a chance to see the show, get your ticket now by clicking HERE.  Once it’s gone, it gone. Thank you to the cast and crew for making the opening of our 66th anniversary so successful and fun.

Next Friday and Saturday (9/28 and 29) be sure to check out Time Stands Still, an Ubu’s Other Shoe staged reading directed by Jill Turnbow and featuring Bob Peterson, Kevin Harris, Maggie Coons, and Jerica Kuster. Time Stands Still is written by the Donald Margulies, the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright of Dinner with Friends. Hear Mr. Margulies talk about the Broadway production HERE.

The Best Man is storming into the theatre after Wonderettes closes. Rehearsals are going very well- you won’t want to miss director Brent Keast’s take on this classic political drama. Get your tickets by clicking HERE.

Our Academy of Creative Theatre Fall classes begin today and enrollment is strong. Check out what Kerry has put together this session by clicking HERE.

The first read-through for It’s a Wonderful Life will take place this Sunday at the theatre. Please see the previous blog post to learn about the great cast that director Lisa Woske has assembled for our holiday production.

Don’t miss the New Times 55-word story celebration/reading at the Little Theatre on Wednesday, September 19 at 8:00 PM. Free admission. More info HERE.

Thank you for every you do to make this theatre work. As always, please let me know if there’s anything the Board or staff or I can do to make your time with us more enjoyable and rewarding.

Have a great Tuesday,
