A CHRISTMAS STORY opens on Saturday, AUDITIONS on Sunday, SANTALAND is coming to town and HOLIDAY GIFT CERTIFICATES are on sale now!

How can you resist such old-fashioned Christmas spirit! A CHRISTMAS STORY, humorist Jean Shepherd's memoir of growing up in the mid-west in the 1940s, follows 9-year-old Ralphie Parker in his quest to get a genuine Red Ryder BB gun under the tree for Christmas. The 1983 film has become an annual tradition for thousands of families and now you can enjoy it live onstage right here at the Little Theatre!

Some performances are already sold-out, but there are still great seats available. If all else fails, we'll have a waiting list at the door! The fun starts Saturday, December 6th at 2 pm (no Friday performance due to the SLO Holiday Parade) Click HERE for tickets and whatever you do... "Don't shoot your eye out!"

The last auditions of 2014 will take place this Sunday at the Little Theatre. 4000 MILES is our fifth Ubu's Other Show staged reading of the season, and the show will be directed by Danielle McNamara. We're looking for four talented actors to take on this award-winning comedy/drama. Show dates are January 30-31 and auditions begin at 4 pm on Sunday, 12/7. Click HERE for all the details and we hope to see you on Sunday.

Crumpet the Elf will be returning to the Little Theatre stage on December 12th at 9:45 pm, as part of a special holiday edition of our After Hours @slotheatre late night comedy series. THE SANTALAND DIARIES is David Sedaris' remarkable one-man-show chronicling the writer's experiences working at Macy's Santaland in New York. Kevin Harris will take on the role of Crumpet for the second year in a row, directed by Suzy Newman. Don't miss a minute of late-night holiday hilarity in downtown SLO! Many, many thanks to ALL of you who made donations to the Little Theatre on "Giving Tuesday" this week, and to those who have made end-of-year donations within the last few weeks. Your gifts this year and every year help to keep the tap shoes tapping, the children laughing, the music playing, and live theatre onstage in San Luis Obispo, now and into the future. If  you are still contemplating your end-of-the-year giving options, we hope you'll consider a gift to the Little Theatre. Click HERE to see our many generous donor benefits and make your donation online today.
