WEST COAST PREMIERE at the Little Theatre! Two nights only!

Good  afternoon friends of the Little Theatre!

This weekend the Little Theatre has the honor of presenting the west coast premiere of a wonderful new play by Johnna Adams. Gidion's Knot, directed by Michael Siebrass, will play this Friday and Saturday evening at 7:00 PM. This Ubu's Other Shoe staged reading is sponsored by Anet and Charley Carlin.

Over the course of a 90-minute parent/teacher conference, a mother and an emotionally overwhelmed primary school teacher have a fraught conversation about the mother's son, the teacher's student, Gidion. Gidion may have been bullied severely -- or he may have been an abuser. As his story is slowly uncovered, the women try to reconstruct a satisfying explanation for Gidion's act and come to terms with excruciating feelings of culpability.

The Little Theatre's staged reading features Robin Wolf and Jill Turnbow.

Honk JR! finished up its three week run yesterday. The production was an complete artistic and financial success, exceeding all net budget goals. Congratulations to Shelagh Garren, Kerry DiMaggio, and the entire cast and crew of this wonderful musical. We'll miss hearing the pitter patter of duck feet at 888 Morro Street!

The holidays are over and it's time to focus on bringing our Academy of Creative Theatre production of Honk Jr! to the stage! This "delightful family musical" opens this Friday and runs through January 27. This "delightful family musical" is directed by Shelagh Garren and choreographed by Kelly Fidopiastis.
