Congratulations to the cast of AFTER THE REVOLUTION!

Happy Friday!

Thank you to everyone who came out and auditioned for the Ubu's Other Shoe staged reading of After the Revolution. David Hance, the director of the play, has finalized the cast:

BEN ... Daniel Freeman

MEL ... Christine Hance

LEO ... Clint Kempster

VERA ... Cordelia Roberts

EMMA ... Maggie Coons

MIGUEL ... Arash Shahabi

MORTY ... Scott Abrams

JESS ... Marie Steck Johnson

ABOUT THE PLAY: The young, brilliant Emma Joseph proudly carries the torch of her family's Marxist tradition by devoting her life to the memory of her famously blacklisted grandfather. When history reveals a shocking truth about the man himself, the entire family is forced to confront questions of honesty and an allegiance they thought had been long resolved. After the Revolution is a bold and hilariously moving portrait of a Jewish American family, forced to reconcile a thorny and delicate legacy.

After the Revolution plays for two nights only: May 10 and 11 at 7:00 PM. Click HERE for tickets.

Have a great Friday, everyone!

WATERGATE disappears, THE GIVER takes the stage, and ENCHANTED APRIL begins to bloom. This week at the Little Theatre!

Good afternoon friends of the Little Theatre,

G. Gordon Liddy feels sort of bad

Watergate (and other solid gold hits!) ended its 6-week run last Sunday. Thank you to this amazing cast and crew who volunteered so much time, energy, and talent to bring this original musical to life on our stage. Ten minutes after the final bows on Sunday afternoon, Dave Linfield's beautiful set was being taken apart by the cast and other volunteers. In less than 90 minutes, no evidence Watergate could be found onstage.

However, certain parts of the show have found a second life. Several of our larger set pieces were loaded into a trailer and shipped to King City for a production of Schoolhouse Rock! That's a bunch of 1970's heading up the 101!

The Giver, an Academy of Creative Theatre staged reading, plays for two nights only: March 29 and 30 at 7:00 PM. The presentation is directed by Kerry DiMaggio. Learn more about the show by clicking HERE. Get your tickets instantly online by clicking HERE.

Only a few weeks until the Little Theatre presents Enchanted April: the play that "reminds you why you love theatre!" Directed by Teresa Thuman, the play will feature an ensemble cast of notable local actors, including Angela Hutt, Bob Peterson, Wendy-Marie Martin, Cory Schonauer, David Norum, Jean Miller, Alicia Klein, and Rosh Wright. Ms. Thuman is a freelance professional director based in Seattle. During the 1990’s, she was an artist-in-residence, director and actress at PCPA Theaterfest in Santa Maria and also directed at the popular Centerpoint Theater Group in San Luis Obispo. Her recent directing credits include the critically acclaimed Urinetown at Bainbridge Performing Arts, The Book of Nathan at Theater Schmeater; Anything Goes, High Society, My Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra at Seattle’s CLO; Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Tartuffe and Oliver! for Driftwood Players; Pericles for Cornish College of the Arts and numerous new-work projects for the Mae West Fest, Fringe Festival, Theatre4Play Festival, Midtown International Theatre Festival, TPS Beyond the Frame, Theatre Babylon and the Experimental Theatre Project. At the Oregon Shakespeare Festival she served as Assistant Director for The Merchant of Venice and The Merry Wives of Windsor.

Thank you for your support of our organization! Have a wonderful week, everyone!

"I just wanted you to know that I made it to the theater Friday night and truly enjoyed the show.  I can always tell when I am entertained, no sooner did the production start and it was over.  Time flew by which was both great and sad, didn't want it to end."

"Watergate was far above and beyond my expectations. Fabulous production and talent was just oozing from the performers!  Their connection with the audience was palpable and moving.  Well done, everyone."

"Just wanted to let you know that we loved Watergate and will definitely pass it on. Great song choices, wonderful cast. I especially enjoyed the clever way you wove the story and music together. And, as if that wasn't enough, a delicious martini as well!"

"Another trip down memory lane!  We loved it!"

"Loved WATERGATE!  Great production. Your directing, the set, costumes, casting, acting, dancing, and  singing are superb."
